The whole story
The company Datavärde Norden AB was founded in 2021 by Dag Lundström, Torbjörn Sundström and Hamed Hooshyar. Short after came Pontus Eriksson and Ivan Majdandzic with their valuable experience and skill. The mission is to get the most out of the resources in the world and to accelerate the use of Clean-Tech products. The story has barely begun.
In 2008 the world suffered from a major crisis in the financial system that hit the automotive city of Gothenburg hard. This is when the founders of Datavärde Norden AB, Dag Lundström and Torbjörn Sundström, started a new company in the Energy Storage business. This was long before the winds of electrification started to blow in the automotive industry.
Slowly the need to improve the battery technology became more understood and among the first industries that took advantage of the strength of Lithium Batteries was the Material Handing sector. In the coming years the company grew steadily. Dag and Torbjörn left and started a new company, Specificate Innovation AB in 2014. The offering was initially mainly High-Tech Innovation Services and Prototype Development.
During 2016 the market for Lithium Batteries had still not taken off and as an attempt to tear down the walls that hold the market back a new Product Concept was developed. The idea was to make a truly modular system with the best price to performance ratio. The products were tested in field trials and the first deliveries were done.
In 2017 Specificate Innovation were sold to a well-known charger manufacturing company, Micropower Group, that came in with resources and production skills. The Industrialized product was ready in 2018 and since then it has been a global success.
The next wave in Electrification and use of Energy Storage Systems (ESS) for the Energy market will be Data Driven. The market needs Data to justify the investments and get the most out of the products. The technology is already here but now it must be understood and used.
